On the Map, the green placemarks I have positively identified with the property in the Census. The yellow ones are other properties I know about of the period but have not been linked to the census or other documentation that proves they were there in 1911.
Canvey Island lies in the Thames estuary, and is located in the UK. This is a work in progress so please bear with me.

Looking at the Census, many of the properties were described just by their name and an area of the Island, and although there were named "roads". The roads themselves were not mentioned in the census adding to the problem of identifying them. Many of the roads on Canvey were unmade, and were just staked out grass tracks which became difficult to use in winter.
